Extinguisher compliance fails in predictable ways: the wrong type next to the risk, units missing from their brackets, signage absent, and a service label three years out of date. None of it is difficult — it just needs a schedule and someone who owns it.
Recall surveys the building against BS 5306-8, supplies and installs the correct extinguisher types, and services them annually with tamper seals, pressure checks and a signed certificate covering every unit on site.
Every extinguisher is tagged and logged, so the annual visit knows exactly what should be present and immediately flags anything that has walked.

A deeper five-yearly service on water-based units: full discharge, internal inspection and refill. CO2 units instead get a ten-yearly pressure test overhaul.
In kitchens, yes — alongside a wet chemical extinguisher. We include blankets and signage in the provision survey where cooking risks exist.
