Log a non-urgent fault

If it is genuinely urgent, please call. Use this form for faults that can wait for working hours.

Faults logged outside working hours are picked up at 8am. For anything affecting life safety, call 01726 839333.

How emergency support works

1

You call the 24/7 line

Answered by someone who can triage the fault, not an answering service taking a message.

Immediately

2

Remote triage

Many faults are resolved or made safe over the phone, or isolated to prevent escalation.

Within minutes

3

Engineer dispatched

An engineer attends with the parts most likely needed for the reported fault.

Within 4 hours

4

Made safe, then repaired

Priority is making the site safe and compliant; permanent repair follows if parts are needed.

Same visit

5

Reported and closed out

Cause, action taken and any follow-up recorded against your compliance file.

Within 24 hours

What counts as an emergency

Fire alarm in fault or sounding

A system in fault leaves the building without detection — it is always an emergency.

Loss of power to critical areas

Kitchens, care equipment, server rooms, refrigeration and access-controlled doors.

Security system failure

An unprotected site overnight, particularly where insurers require monitored cover.

Escape route lighting failure

A dark escape route is a life safety issue, not a maintenance item.
